How to Play Giga Zombies
Everything you need to know about GigaBlox mechanics, scatter pays and the progress bar system.
The Fundamentals
Giga Zombies operates on a 6×5 scatter-pays grid — 6 columns and 5 rows give 30 symbol positions per spin. Rather than fixed paylines, wins are determined by clusters of 8 or more identical symbols anywhere on the grid. A 3×3 GigaBlox alone places 9 symbols — already forming a winning cluster if no other matching symbols are needed.

Spin Sequence Step-by-Step
- Choose your bet. Set your stake. Typical range: €0.10 to €100 per spin depending on the casino.
- Spin. The GigaBlox engine places one or more giant symbol blocks on the 6×5 grid alongside regular symbols.
- Win check. Any cluster of 8+ matching symbols anywhere on the grid pays out according to the paytable.
- Avalanche. Winning symbols vanish; new symbols cascade from above to fill gaps. New clusters may form.
- Progress bar advances. Each consecutive Avalanche win fills the bar, potentially unlocking modifiers.
- Chain ends. No further wins stop the Avalanche chain. Total wins are collected. A new spin begins.
GigaBlox™ Block Mechanics
Every spin in Giga Zombies guarantees at least one GigaBlox — an oversized symbol block that dramatically increases cluster formation potential. Three block sizes exist:
2×2 Block (4 cells)
Most frequent block size. Contributes 4 identical symbols to the grid. Needs 4 more matching symbols elsewhere to form an 8-symbol win.
3×3 Block (9 cells)
Medium block. Nine identical symbols — enough on its own to trigger a win. Frequently leads to multiple simultaneous wins.
4×4 Block (16 cells)
Maximum block size — fills over half the grid. Premium symbol 4×4 blocks are the game's most lucrative single landing event.
Progress Bar Modifiers
The progress bar tracks consecutive Avalanche wins within a single spin sequence. Three modifier stages unlock as the chain grows:

Free Spins can be triggered by: landing 4+ scatter symbols anywhere on the grid, OR filling the progress bar to 9 consecutive Avalanche wins. During Free Spins:
- GigaBlox lands on every spin (not just sometimes)
- A multiplier starts at 2× and increases each consecutive cascade
- Multiplier sequence: 2× → 3× → 5× → 8× → 15× → 25× → 50×
- Additional scatters during the bonus add more free spins
- Progress bar continues to operate — Wild modifier remains active
